This layer is intended primarily as a way of grouping and organising layers within a workbook, similar to how folders are used in file structures.
This layer type is a natural place for several menu functions which involve combining several similar data objects into one such as combining WRGs and met mast layers. See Layers Menu for more details.
Figure 92: Folder Layer Properties
The only variable currently inherent to the folder layer is the ability to disable all child layers. This means that, when unchecked, all child layers are hidden from queries so nothing from any child layer is used. It is as if they were temporarily deleted from the workbook.
